My Mission
Hello ladies and gentlemen. My name is Joleen and I am an active member of the community, whom saw the heartbreaking story of little Christian Choate's life and abuse. Christian was killed at the tender age of 13, just becoming a teen the December before his April death. Myself and several other bloggers wanted to start this blog to raise awareness of the severeness of child abuse in our great nation. It's the way Christian would want it. This December would be Christians 18th birthday. Christian, angel, this is for you! we all love care and miss you! We have a facebook page set up to honor Christian as well as other abused children. It is on facebook, it is a closed group, called "The Christian Choate Safe House Network." We have been writing to our senators, the president and house of reps to ask that safe houses be put in many major cities so abused children have a place to go to. We ask that, simply because before the abuse got worse for Christian Choate, he tried to run away and was found by Riley Choate, his biological "father" at a Walgreens in his city, and taken home, and the abuse got worse which led to his death. We would love to see safe houses set up for children - however, no one in the white house or our respective states are paying any attention to us. Please feel free to come by and visit, and ask to join our group if you so choose.
